When sending ARRL numbered messages the letters “ARL” proceed the check in the preamble and the ARL number in the body of the message.
A Radiogram sent in this manner would be voiced as follows, expanding the ARL 63 into the full text for delivery to the addressee:
“Victory or defeat, our best wishes are with you. Hope you win”.
